All-Haltech Finals at Street Car Takeover

Beech Bend Park played host to the Street Car Takeover, a drag racing and motorsports event combining roll racing, drag racing, drifting and a car show. The event is open to all makes of cars and trucks, imports and domestics. Haltech USA was on hand to provide tech support with several Haltech staffers also participating in the racing.

It was an all-Haltech finals in the heavily contested Street Outlaw Unlimited Class. The class, which runs on an 1/8th Mile, No Time/No Clock format, saw two Haltech-powered Mustangs of John Pryor (left) and Nick “Dooser” Thompson (right) line up against each other in the finals.

Pryor emerged victorious taking the win and the class trophy.

James Short from Shortuning set a new PB of [email protected] in his Haltech-powered, 6 speed Turbo ’98 Camaro.

One of Haltech’s biggest USA dealers/tuners, Dynosty were out to prove a point and trying to again break the 370 World Record with their single turbo Nismo shop car. Unfortunately a broken driveshaft ended their day prematurely.

Michael Little from Haltech USA competed in both roll racing and drag Racing T&T in his Toyota Supra.

Michael ran a new PB which he feels will shortly be reset again as the car keeps getting faster and quicker.

Also representing Haltech USA was Andrew DiMartino. Andrew put on a great show in the exhibition drifting with his SC300.
