Far, Far Away

25/5/2010 – Dubai UAE

The 2010 Automechanika Middle East Show provided the backdrop for the first ever Haltech Training Seminar in the Middle East. The 2 day training seminar combined class-room style theory learning with hands on practical applications with the first day being run out of the Rydges Plaza conference centre and the second day being run at the ARP workshop dyno facility.

Over the two days some 20 local tuners were exposed to comprehensive teaching by Haltech’s in house training expert Matt Wright. Topics included advanced trigger setup, custom sensor applications, advanced idle functionality and dyno tuning. However one of the most exciting purposes of this trip was the final testing and commissioning of Haltech’s all new Nissan Patrol plugin ECU (TB48 – Y61), with the final testing of this product completed as part of the training seminar attendees obtained a glimpse into the future Haltech.

A big thanks to Ahmed at ARP for pulling this seminar together at the last minute after the original venue was unexpectedly cancelled due to booking conflicts. Haltech will be back in the middle east offering additional training services later in the year (not in the middle of summer this time !).
