“We will be competitive. I am not going to this much trouble to be an also ran!”
If Jose’s passion-filled words are anything to go by, his “Superfalcon” will be a force to be reckoned with come May 21-22nd.
Based on a 2008 Fujistu car that Jose actually ran with Jason Bright, the car has undergone some serious upgrades with the final engine being currently assembled at the Fernandez Motorsport workshop.
Featuring hotrod goodies supplied by Fabre Australia and an amazing turbo setup from the gurus at Plazmaman and tyre support from Dunlop, the Superfalcon will also use Haltech’s flagship Platinum Series ECU.

A trick turbo setup courtesy of Plazmaman provides extra horspower to the straight six.
Using a V8 Supercar chassis will give the car a competitive edge.
