Close to 10,000 people crowded the Eastern Creek Raceway for the annual World Time Attack Challenge. With teams from the USA, Japan, New Zealand and Australia, the stage was set for the ultimate Time Attack showdown.

With Sydney putting on its best winter weather, it looked like last year’s runners-up, USA’s Sierra Sierra Enterprises Evo might clinch the title. However it was the reigning champions – CyberEvo that managed to come from behind to secure the 1st place, setting a new track record with a blistering time of 1:28.8510.

Haltech was well represented with plenty of cars across all classes using Haltech ECUs, while the just-released Fernandez Motorsport Ute attracted plenty of attention at the Haltech stand.

In the Pro Class Haltech was represented by the UAS 300ZX driven by John Boston.

In the Open Class STZ Automotive RX-7 (above), Ultimate Tunes WTX, Turbosmart RX-7 (below), Steve Ka’s R34 GT-R, Motive DVD’s Silvia S13, Conor Nolan’s WRX and Trent Levi’s RX-7 all used haltech ECUs.
