Sydney International Dragway played host to the annual Sydney Jamboree – one of the biggest events on the Australian sport compact drag racing calendar.
Haltech-equipped race cars were out in force and they didn’t disappoint with new PBs and very close racing.
Ben Bray set a new PB with a 7.916@176 pass using his new Platinum Sport 2000 ECU, Po Tung managed a very respectable 7.93@178 pass on his first outing in his Supra and Pro-Signs R100 earned a second place in the 10.5 class with a 8.4@160 pass.

Joe Signorelli pushed the GAS Celica to 6.48@217 which was his best qualifying time but the real star of the event was PAC Performance’s Mazda 6 which came back from a fiery incident in the second round to win the Pro Turbo Class against Ray Glass’ Celica with a margin of just 1/1000th of a second.
