Here at Haltech we are proud to announce our all new CAN based expansion devices for the ever increasing Haltech Platinum Range.
The CAN based expansion devices can be used with the Platinum Sport, Sprint and Pro series ECU’s – In most cases more than one expander device can be used with one ECU!
The first product in the CAN based line up is the I/O Expander 12 (Also known as the Input/Output box).
The I/O Expander 12 is plugged directly into the CAN port of your Platinum series ECU and is supplied as a true plug and play system. A flying lead harness or plug and pin set is available with the I/O Expander 12 which offers 4 Analogue inputs, 4 Digital inputs and 4 Digital outputs.
The TC systems accept a mini K-type thermocouple which can be supplied as a full solution if necessary.
You can also pair up the TC boxes, for example use a 2 and a 4 channel to monitor/log 6 exhaust gas temperatures.
The third CAN product is the CAN Hub. The CAN Hub is used when more than one CAN device is being used with your ECU. Think of this as a 6 port adaptor to allow you to plug you Thermocouple amplifiers, Input/output boxes and a dash into your Haltech engine management system.
