Paradise Racing’s World Record

Equipped with Haltech’s Platinum Sport 2000 ECU, Paradise Racing Celica rewrote the record books at Englishtown’s New Jersey Raceway Park during the 14th Annual
Fall Nationals with a 7.06@198mph pass.

Shortly after, during the 9th Annual Shakedown at Englishtown, the team smashed its own record again in front of over 30,000 fans and racing against the fastest sport compact teams in the country as well as a number of ultra-fast cars from Puerto Rico.

Running against the 13B powered Toyota Starlet, the Paradise Racing Celica proved once and for all it is THE car to beat with an ET of 6.98@200.9mph.  The ET now stands as the record for the World’s fastest and quickest Toyota “RZ” powered car and places the Paradise Racing Celica in a unique position of being the first ever Modified ¾ Chassis Toyota Powered car in the world to reach the 6 second zone as well as the 200 mile per hour top speed.

The Paradise Racing Celica uses Haltech’s Platinum Series Sport 2000 ECU to control its Toyota 4-cylinder 2RZ engine.
