Australia’s largest car culture event put on one hell of a party for their 30th anniversary.
Held in Australia’s capital city, Canberra, Street Machine Summernats 30 went off with a bang attracting record crowds and world-wide media coverage.
For those not familiar with Summernats, it’s a four-day horsepower fest with various activities like cruises, burnouts, go-to-whoa, motorkhana, show’n’shine and live bands keeping the participants entertained.
This year’s event also featured two very special guests from Discovery’s hit show Street Outlaws – Farmtruck & AZN.
Summernats 30 was particularly important for Haltech with the company sponsoring both the event and Farmtruck & AZN, as well as celebrating its own 30th anniversary!
Fresh from competing at the Street Machine Drag Challenge, Mark Arblaster’s POR440 Valiant found itself competing again, this time at the Summernats’ Horsepower Heroes dyno comp.
Mark picked up a Dyno Standout Performance award with the car pumping out 725.5hp at the wheels.
Farmtruck & AZN also took a liking to Mark’s Valiant jumping in it for a quick ride during the Saturday night Super Cruise.
