New Firmware Release: v2.28

Update your ESP software to the latest version by going to ESP Online and clicking on the ESP Online icon located in the top right corner of the home screen.

Alternatively, you can download the full version of ESP from our Downloads Page.


2.28 Firmware Release

To take advantage of Firmware Update v2.28, you must be on the latest version of the Haltech ESP. Update to the latest version of ESP v2.00.34 here.

Elite 2500/2500T

ESP Requirement: Haltech ESP 2.00.34

Data Logging
– Improved data-log extraction speed

ESP Communications
– Improved ECU connection speed.

Flat Shift
– Flat shift function code has been upgraded.
– Closed Loop Flat Shift has been added as an option. Gear position sensor is required. 
– Load Cell has been added as an input option.
  NOTE: If vehicle was using previous version of Flat Shift please check to ensure all settings
  are still accurate and that shifts still behave correctly. Re-tune may be required.

Fuel Injection
– Improved fuel accuracy on first injection pulse using cranking table. 
– Per Cylinder Corrections now applies when fuel tuning mode is set to Injection Time.

Engine On/Off Control
– If Engine On/Off Control Starter Motor output is enabled and active,
  it will enable the Fuel Pump Output.

Idle Control
– Closed loop idle mode now has a channel “Idle Closed Loop Control Active”
  showing which state it’s currently in.
– Throttle follower help box information has been updated.

Lambda
– Improved accuracy of target lambda table when fuel tuning method is VE or Mass Air Flow,
  or if O2 control is enabled.

Torque Management
– Torque Management now allows choice between controlling Driveshaft RPM,
  Engine RPM or both. 
– Changed cut strategy from a limiter to a tunable cut percentage table.
  NOTE: When upgrading firmware, you will need to tune your
  Driveshaft RPM Cut Percentage table. 
– Updated Torque Management default values.

Trigger
– Added Home setting: Synchronisation Mode. 
  When this is set to Until Full Sync, the home signal gets ignored once the ECU
  has been at Full Cycle engine synchronisation for 8 engine cycles. 
  NOTE: This is only available for Generic Standard Full Cycle trigger.

Vehicle CAN
– Added Vehicle CAN support for Nissan 350Z: Tacho, A/C Request , A/C Clutch,
  Coolant Temperature Dash Gauge. 
– Updated Vehicle Speed inputs for Nissan 350Z: Check Engine Light output, Thermo-fan outputs
  and Air Conditioning output.

Vehicle Speed Sensors
– Added Filtering to vehicle speed sensors.
  Smoothing filters added to all vehicle speed sensors.
  Additional filtering is now accessible through the Vehicle Speed Filter Scale in sensor properties.

Decel Cut
– An additional option to override the decel cut if the clutch switch is active has been added.


Elite 1500

Elite Pro Plug-in for Barra I6

ESP Requirement:  Haltech ESP 2.00.34

Now supports Ford Falcon FG MKII Auto and Manual Variants 

Data Logging
– Improved data-log extraction speed.

ESP Communications
– Improved ECU connection speed.

Default Map changes to improve driveability
– Improved fuel composition axis values
– Changed the auto trans shift point load table to match OEM
– Changed the torque table to have 0 at the 0 air sites. 
– Changed the axis 3 for the torque table to fuel composition

Engine On/Off Control
– Added a redify condition to Engine Control Relay for Ford Falcon FG Mk2 to comply with
  the Vehicle CAN start strategy requirements. 
– Fuel pump output will be enabled if Engine On/Off Control Starter Motor output
  is enabled and active.

Flat Shift
– Updated Flat Shift Function code.
  NOTE: If vehicle was using previous version of Flat shift and upgrading firmware
  please check to ensure all settings are still accurate,
  and that shifts still behave correctly. Re-une may be required.
– Closed Loop Flat Shift has been added as an option gear position sensor is required. 
– Load Cell has been added as an input option.

– Torque Converter Multiplier moved from Torque Model to Torque Converter function. 
– The Torque Model uses this for Torque calculations for the Ford Falcon BF Auto
  and FG Auto Vehicle CAN.

Traction Control
– Added a redify condition to the Cruise Control mode, CAN Torque Limit input
  on the Ford Falcon FG Mk2 is currently not supported. 
– Additional explanation provided explaining the differences between the
  traction control input types.

Trigger
– Added Home setting: Synchronisation Mode. 
  When this is set to Until Full Sync, the home signal gets ignored once the ECU

– Transmission type drop down on F4 page will appear yellow if it doesn’t match your variant
  selection with regards to auto / manual.
– Torque strategy within Torque Model will appear yellow if the engine selected does not match
  your plug-in variant.

Vehicle Speed Sensors
– Added Filtering to vehicle speed sensors.
  Smoothing filters added to all vehicle speed sensors.
  Additional filtering is now accessible through the Vehicle Speed Filter Scale in sensor properties.

Elite 950
