Trackside: Weekend Warriors

It was a big weekend at the track for Haltech teams this weekend!

Connelly Racing dominated MX235 NMRA Gateway Rumble in St. Louis, MO!

One Friday evening last month Connelley Racing made a spur of the moment decision when they loaded up the car and drove overnight to Atlanta to mix it up with the NMRA gang in Modified Street.

Despite never having made a quarter mile pass in the car, nor being optimized for quarter mile racing, they had a good showing, and made it to the finals but came up a little short.

Since that weekend, they’ve been hard at work changing parts and testing in preparation for this past weekend’s race. Those efforts finally paid off when they were able to qualify number one off the trailer, break the class record, backup the record in eliminations and finally take the event win!

“We’d like to thank Eric Gash and the crew at Haltech for everything that you guys do to support our program. Best EFI system and support on the market!”

Vinny Palazzolo also had a killer weekend at Gateway Rumble, securing the #1 qualifying spot in Street Outlaw with a 4.44 @166mph. He marched all the way to the finals where he ran quicker and faster but placed first-runner-up on a hole shot loss.

Nathan Crisman took home the Forced Induction Pro class win at Import Face-Off New Hampshire.

“It was a luck thing today, Nick Stack simply forgot the nitrous all together & I brought just a little bit. Not impressive times but I’m happy with the weekend!”

It was an all Haltech final at the London Dragway Small Tire No Time Shootout Saturday night.

John Pryor took home the win with Ricky Palmore coming in Runner-up.

Import Drag Solutions brought their S14 Nissans out to Muncie Dragway in Indiana for the Heads UP Racing Series and took the win in both Stick Shift and Gangster N/T classes.

Ryan Hendrickson won the Big Tire class at Judgement Day No Prep at Kil-kare Speedway in Ohio.
