Trackside: Weekend Warriors

Another successful weekend for Haltech powered cars and their drivers.

Craig Walls took the win in UPR X275 finals at the Ford Fever held at the Maryland International Raceway.

Craig set a new personal best ET of 4.343, the second quickest X275 pass this year!

Craig’s Vortech Xi Supercharger powered Mustang uses Haltech Elite 2500 for all injection and ignition control.

There was plenty of excitement at the Mountain Park Dragway with several Haltech customers setting new PBs.

Shannon Corman broke into the 8-sec zone for the first time in his turbocharged 6.0 LS Trans Am. His new PB is 8.81@156mph.

Shannon’s Trans Am uses Elite 2500 to control the 1200hp motor. Check out the full feature on this car here: www.haltech.com

William (Hotrod) Sparks also managed to set a new PB in his S10 grudge truck.

William’s truck used Elite 2500T with Advanced Torque Management.

Not to be outdone, Jordan Gasser also set a new PB of 9.2 seconds in his LS swapped Mustang Turbo.  Jordan uses Elite 2500 to control the 5.3L LS.

The string of PBs continued with Kyle Stratton running a PB of 9.47@149mph in his Camaro.

Kyle’s Camaro is powered by an LS2 with stock bottom end, single turbo and controlled by an Elite 2000.

Darrell Crawford‘s No Time/Grudge 69 Camaro recorded some impressive times and a new PB as well.

The car uses Haltech’s Elite VMS-T to control its Nitrous-fed motor.

James Short‘s Ls 427 twin turbo stick shift with Elite 2500T on board.

No PBs for James but the car put on an impressive display of brute power, pulling a wheelie mid track in 2nd and 3rd gear.

Jack Brandenburg Jr made a few shakedown passes in his Chevy Nova after an 11 year break from racing.

Jack’s 427 LS twin turbo uses Elite 2500-T with Advanced Torque Management.

Bill Walls‘  89 Chrysler Conqest powered by a 4G63 motor and controlled by Elite 1500.

Bill’s Conquest made plenty of power but unfortunately broke an axle on its first pass.
