We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Packaging / Boxing Team Member to join our Packaging Team. This position will be responsible for daily packing/kitting of manufactured products into their respective packaging as a finished product onto stocking shelves ready for the goods to be dispatched.


ABOUT THE ROLE

  • • Oversee all daily aspects of the packaging team and functions.
  • • Ensure both internally manufactured and direct buy-in products are packaged in accordance with internal construction guidelines.
  • • Packaging finished goods in line with internal quality standards.
  • • Products are built as per production schedules and against respective work orders.
  • • Collaborate with the Project Management Office on new product introductions.
  • • Coordinate the packaging team members to align with daily requirements
  • • Ensure inventory is accurately represented in the nominated bay locations.
  • • Inventory is transferred to respective bin locations on stock movement.
  • • Raise awareness of issues relating to inventory accuracy within packaging inventory locations.
  • • Communicate concerns with inventory quality to respective staff.
  • • Report incorrect representations of Bills of Material quantities and usage.
  • • Report inventory transfers, adjustments, and write-offs as required or directed
  • • Assist in stocktake/cycle counting as per the required schedules of boxing locations.
  • • Perform additional counts for inventory that is not reflective of the system levels.
  • • Proactively locating inventory that may otherwise be incorrectly placed.

ABOUT YOU

  • • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • • Forklift License preferred
  • • Excellent organisation and planning skills
  • • Proven experience in a warehouse role.
  • • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices.
  • • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software.
  • • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • • Reliable, punctual, team player
  • • Self-Motivated and displays initiative
  • • Proficient in computer-based programs – Microsoft Office Suite
  • • Knowledge of NetSuite – preferred but not essential
  • • Ability to identify and respond quickly to situations and provide solutions.
  • • Ability to communicate across team members and establish a reputation for trustworthiness
