Sydney Jamboree 2024

The annual Sydney Jamboree Sports Compact Drag Racing event took place at Sydney Dragway over the weekend, and it lived up to all expectations!

Maatouks Racing‘s all Haltech-controlled “The Don” set a new ET World Record for an RB-powered car with a blistering 5.81@251mph!

Jimmy Peksen repping Just Engine Management took the win in the Modified Compact class at his first Sydney Jamboree event with a 9.37@144mph.

Hailing from the BlackTrack Performance team Brad Halyburton secured the Street Compact class win in his 1JZ-powered Cressida.

Justin Gregory, the driving force behind BlackTrack Performance, showcased his dominance in the Pro Turbo class with remarkably consistent performances. However unfortunately, a technical issue at the finish line during the finals relegated him to the runner-up position.
