Mark Hooker is…
A car enthusiast and a wheel builder who started Barrel Bros in 2013, specialising in restoring and customizing vintage Japanese wheels, such as SSR Star Sharks and Longchamps XR-4. Their meticulous process included machining, welding, and polishing to achieve precise fitments and finishes. This commitment to quality made them a sought-after name amongst car enthusiasts.

The “Work Truck”
Mark’s distinctive Nissan Sunny truck, far from a typical work truck, is lowered and rolling on 14-inch Techno Phantom wheels, equipped with Nissan’s mighty A12 engine and Yamaha R6 quad throttle bodies, all controlled by a Nexus R3 and 8 Button CAN Keypad. Blending classic Japanese styling with practical functionality. Used for deliveries, it exemplifies Barrel Bros’ dedication to automotive craftsmanship and style. A testament to their passion for blending form and function.

The Future….
In 2023, Mark shut the doors to Barrel Bro’s and made the transition to an online store continuing to sell hardware, centre caps and merch, continuing the Barrel Brothers name. Mark continues to build weird and wonderful cars and wheels on his own channel, but the Nissan Sunny truck remains close to his heart as a true ‘forever’ car.
