Conditions of Repair
- All ECU returns must be accompanied by a Haltech Return Information Form. Any Haltech product received without this form fully completed and signed, will NOT be inspected and will be returned to the customer at their expense.
- Please note: Unfortunately Interceptors and all ECUs prior to F10X/E6X are no longer able to be bench tested or repaired.
Prepaid Repair Charges:
- The fixed bench testing service charge for an Elite or Platinum ECU is $90 AUD inc GST and F10X, E6X, E8, E11v2 is
$150 AUD inc GST even if no fault can be found. This service charge covers handling costs and a thorough and full
factory re-test of the returned unit. - The minimum repair charge for an Elite or Platinum ECU is $200 AUD inc GST and F10X, E6X, E8, E11v2 is $300
AUD inc GST. The final price of the product repair will depend on both the time taken to repair the unit and the cost of
materials. - Repairs have a 90 day warranty. If the unit sent in is still under its original warranty, then the new warranty is 90 days or to the end of
the original one year warranty, depending upon which is longer. - Return freight charges will be additional to the bench testing / repair charges
Warranty Repairs:
- All repairs that are deemed to be covered under warranty will be repaired without charge. The product must be installed and operated
according to the conditions of the Limited Warranty* in order for the product to be covered under warranty. Products found to be
damaged due to misuse will not be covered and normal repair charges will apply. - Return to customer freight charges will be covered by Haltech if the unit is repaired under warranty.
- Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice, which indicates that the product is within warranty period must be
presented to obtain warranty service
Note:
- Please mark returns as “Return to Manufacture for Repair”. All customs / duties charges due to incorrectly declared returns will be charged
in addition to the repair cost. - All product returns must be sent via a freight method with adequate tracking and proof of delivery services.
Haltech will not be held responsible for any product returns lost during transit. - Once your Haltech product has been repaired, Haltech will contact you using the information provided in this document. In the event that
contact cannot be made or payment is not received by Haltech within the 12 month period following the completion of the repair, your
