We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated SMT Operator to join our growing team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will report to the SMT Manager where your duties will include:

• • Effectively operate the Surface Mount (SMT) machine line, including setup, operation and shutdown of associated equipment
• • Load/Unload components from feeders for both job set-up, and ensure continued machine operation
• • Organise components from inventory into kits as per work orders.
• • Perform routine & secluded maintenance to ensure equipment is being maintained and up to standard
• • Quality inspection of PCBs
• • Work closely with the Production Manager to schedule jobs and troubleshoot production issues
• • Log production processing times each day & for each work order
• • Daily enter completed jobs into ERP as per respective work order

ABOUT YOU

• • 3+ years’ experience in a similar position
• • Experience using both Juki or Yamaha Pick and Place Machine
• • Experience using Yamaha programming tools/software
• • Machine set-up/programming experience
• • Experience with both Convection and Vapour Phase reflow oven & profiling
• • Potential rework of PCBa’s if required
• • Experience with Selective Soldering equipment
• • Excellent organisation and planning skills
• • Proficient in computer-based programs – Microsoft Office Suite
• • Knowledge of Netsuite – preferred
