Haltech Joins RWB Family

Race Winning Brands (RWB), a leader in performance engine and drivetrain components and a portfolio company of Middleground Capital, recently announced their acquisition of Haltech Engine Management Systems.

As an expert in electronic engine management systems for performance and racing applications, Haltech’s broad product offerings are a natural complement to RWB’s existing engine component offerings. Together, they serve a critical need for modern performance customers’ engine performance and management needs.

Race Winning Brands and Haltech

Bob Bruegging, CEO of Race Winning Brands, stated “I’m extremely excited about bringing Haltech into our Family of Brands – we have products that build faster, stronger engines – and Haltech builds products that allow those engines to perform at their best! Located in Australia, this will also give us another base of operations outside the US to complement our Canadian and European Operations. Nathan and his team are a welcome addition to our growing family.”

“Haltech’s mission is to empower automotive passion, and through joining RWB, we can now bring our technology to so many more people,” said Nathan Clark, President. “We are very excited to be part of this high-caliber, high-horsepower family and looking forward to being able to provide customers with complete performance solutions.”

Nathan shared the news that Mark Bevan, former Haltech CEO, announced his retirement. Mark Bevan has been the driving force behind Haltech’s growth since he took control of the company in 2006.

After announcing his immediate retirement from his position, Mark told Haltech employees in a special company meeting, “The one thing I wanted to achieve before retiring was to assure a future for Haltech. I know with Nathan and our amazing Haltech team joining the RWB family, the company is in great hands. Together, I’m confident they will take Haltech to the next level.”

Nathan continued, “Mark will be greatly missed at Haltech, and the Haltech family wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”

Haltech will continue to operate from all their existing locations. All Haltech dealers, customers and sponsored teams will continue to be supported as per usual.
