We’re calling all creators to design the most innovative, stylish, and functional dash layouts for the Haltech iC-7 and uC-10. Whether your style is a data-focused Race layout, a classic Retro throwback, a visionary Future design, or a no-holds-barred Freestyle creation, we want to see it!

HOW TO ENTER

1. Using the latest Haltech NSP software (Download it for free: https://www.haltech.com/downloads/) design your dream dash for one of these eight categories: 

iC-7 Race
iC-7 Retro
iC-7 Future
iC-7 Freestyle
uC-10 Race
uC-10 Retro
uC-10 Future
uC-10 Freestyle

2. Submit your .nexmap file and a screenshot via the entry form (https://hal.tech/DADEF) between August 14th and September 11th, 2025.

JUDGING AND PRIZES

Our expert panel will select eight finalists, one from each category, who will then face a sudden-death elimination public vote on our Facebook page to decide the winner!
The eight finalists will each receive the dash they designed for – either a Haltech uC-10 or an iC-7!
The winner’s design will have the glory of being featured as a default screen loaded on future Haltech dashes. 
This is your chance to have your work recognised by the global Haltech community.

THE RULES

1. Your design must be your own, original concept. It is okay to take inspiration from somewhere, but we’re not looking for direct copies of OEM dashes, etc.
2. All fonts used, must be royalty-free and/or licensed for free commercial use.

THE CATEGORIES

RACE CATEGORIES (iC-7 & uC-10)

Focus on what matters: data, precision, and speed. The Race category is for the ultimate performance purist. We’re looking for clean, functional, and data-driven layouts where every pixel serves a purpose. This is about your unique take on a race dash, so we’re looking for original designs, not replicas of existing motorsport displays. Show us your most efficient, track-focused layout that gives a driver everything they need at a glance and nothing they don’t.

RETRO CATEGORIES (iC-7 & uC-10)

Wind back the clock and bring back the classics! The Retro category is a tribute to the golden eras of motoring. We’re challenging you to create a dash that captures the spirit of vintage gauges, 80s digital displays, or 90s tuner nostalgia. While you can take inspiration from the classics, this is about originality, so no direct copies or replicas of existing dashes. It’s all about style, character, and a nod to the past, powered by today’s technology. If you live for synthwave sunsets and classic cool, this is your category.

FUTURE CATEGORIES (iC-7 & uC-10)

Show us what’s next. The Future category is for the visionaries and sci-fi dreamers. We want to see your unique and original interpretation of the dash of tomorrow. Think advanced telematics, sleek user interfaces, and aesthetics inspired by cyberpunk and space exploration. Push the boundaries of design and create a layout that looks like it’s been pulled straight from the year 2077.

FREESTYLE CATEGORIES (iC-7 & uC-10)

No rules. No limits. Pure, original creativity. The Freestyle category is your blank canvas. If your idea is too wild to be contained by any other category, this is its home. We’re looking for designs that are 100% you, so replicas are not what we’re after. Go for a wild artistic theme, create a tribute to the greatest song in the world, or design something so unique it defies description. This is your chance to show off your personality and technical skill without restraint. Surprise us!
